Think 2030

Launching a sustainability think tank movement

Challenge
Climate change and other environmental, social and economic challenges require collaborative action across all sectors of society.

Solution
Strengthen the voice of sustainability think tanks and like-minded organisations by forming a sustainability think tank movement: Think 2030.

Approach
At the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP), I project managed and led the marketing and communications of Think 2030.

As the day-to-day project manager for strategy, operations and communications, I designed an integrated marketing campaign which included:

  • an updated website and social media profiles

  • SDG-focused PR strategy

  • 100-person sustainability policy conference in Brussels

  • production of fifteen policy reports and briefs

  • a European Parliament event where four Members of the European Parliament presented the conference’s conclusions.

Outcomes
Creating partnerships with over ten influential organisations, the conference was a success. The campaign remains at the foundation of the organisation’s external communications strategy.
